OvenGUARD©2.0 is an electronic device which turns off the stove or oven after the user has used up the chosen set time. The OvenGUARD R2.0 is a dual system as it is a timer and overheating/fire detection device and it switches OFF the stove if it detects FIRE on the cooking plate due to if the user forgets due to negligence or poor memory.

The user can set usage time of 30min,2hr or 5 hrs and after this set time the timer shuts down the stove/oven automatically.

If there is a fire on the stove due to the user negligence the FIR temperature sensor will shut down the current to the stove/oven.

This will stop damage to the kitchen due to fire. This device is a “Plug and Play” system.
The user can install the system on at home as long as the stove/oven plug is a 5-pin Perilex plug and the electrical outage is 400 VAC and 16 Amp.

No need to be installed by a electrician. According to the Swedish Boverkets recommended rules for the installation of cooker/oven alarm systems can be installed by the home owner if the electrical plug and socket are Perilex type.

Description

OvenGUARD©is an electronic device which turns off the stove or oven after the user has used up the chosen set time. The user sets the usage time on the controller unit by pressing one of the 3 buttons on the unit. One can choose 30 min, 2 hours or 5 hours. As an added safety feature the oven guard has IR-heat sensor which will automatically shut down the oven or stove in case of fire if it detects a high temperature on the stove plate it shuts down the oven/stove. OvenGUARD©  only works on electrical stove/oven.

The user connects the OvenGUARDĀ© between the AC mains 400 VAC and the oven. The controller is then placed on the kitchen bench and the heat sensor FIR is mounted on the wall behind the stove (about 45 cm) as shown in the figure below.

Important: OvenGUARDĀ© is for electric stoves/ovens with 400VAC 3-phase voltage and 16 Ampere current only.

Installing OvenGUARDĀ© does not require an electrician. It is a “Plug and Play” system.

The PSU connects to the 400VAC wall mains with a 5-pin Perilex plug. The PSU has a Perilex socket, and the stove/oven’s Perilex 5-pin plug is plugged into it.

The plug that connects the stove/oven must be a Perilex 5-pin connector with this wiring:
L1: brown
L2: black
L3: white/grey
N: blue
GND: white/green
